Axe de recherche
Isabelle Ouellet-Morin est docteure en psychologie. Plusieurs de ses travaux de recherche portent sur les mécanismes psychologiques et physiologiques du stress des enfants, des adolescents et des jeunes adultes.
Les intérêts de recherche de Pre Ouellet-Morin incluent l'étude de la réponse physiologique au stress dans un contexte de victimisation (ex. : maltraitance, intimidation par les pairs) et aux répercussions de ces expériences sur la santé mentale et les problèmes de conduite des adolescents et jeunes adultes. Elle s'intéresse aussi aux facteurs qui contribuent à la vulnérabilité et la résilience des individus confrontés à ces expériences. Avec son équipe, elle a aussi développé l’application mobile +Fort pour soutenir les jeunes victimes d’intimidation. . En plus d'être chercheure au CR-IUSMM, elle est aussi chercheure au Centre d'études sur le stress humain et au Groupe de recherche en inadaptation psychosociale chez l'enfant. Isabelle Ouellet-Morin est aussi la codirectrice du Centre Axel, un projet structurant du CR-IUSMM.
